Student Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Indiana Learns program, a student must meet ALL of the below criteria:
- Student completed Spring 2025 ILEARN testing and scored below proficiency in either Mathematics or English/Language Arts
- NOTE: approaching proficiency will not qualify
- Student resides in Indiana;
- Student is enrolled in and is attending a CSI, TSI or ATSI-designated school as a third through eighth grade student; and
- Student qualifies for the federal free or reduced lunch program
- NOTE: Students attending a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) district do not automatically qualify.
To check eligibility online, you will need a child’s student test number, or STN. This number should appear on ILEARN reports provided by a school or on other school records. If you need help finding your student’s STN, contact your school.
