Big6, an approach to teaching information skills, web site provides a description of this model, lessons, resources and a chart correlating the Big6 skills with the national Information Literacy Standards developed by the American Association of School Librarians and the National Educational Standards for Students (NETS). Buddy2 Teaching and Learning Center in Indianapolis offers two all day workshops for IN educators on information literacy: “Learning to Learn: Making Effective Use of Student Research” and ‘Information Literacy Skills for Today's Students”. There is no charge for these courses. At: www.btlc.org
