opportunities for Indiana library media specialists and technology
specialists.
Office of Learning Resources (OLR), Indiana
Department of Education, provides professional development opportunities
throughout the year. Regional Contact Meetings, for both library
media and technology specialists, are held in the fall, winter,
and spring - in eight sections of the state. These meetings provide
opportunities for media and technology coordinators to share ideas
and learn from colleagues. Each spring free regional workshops
for classroom teachers, library media and technology specialists

Association for Media Educators (AIME) holds
an annual conference in the fall; which includes pre-conferences
and concurrent on a variety of instruction media and technology
topics including integration of technology with academic standards

professional development opportunities for Indiana educators to
share best teaching and learning practices that combine technology

Indiana Web Academy’s mission is to empower
the students, parents, and educators in the State of Indiana to
integrate technology and the Internet with education. Offers one-hour
seminars on Microsoft Word, Internet Fundamentals, creating and
maintaining web pages and weeklong summer courses for graduate
